In the Company of Clouds
Adding gospel choir-like vocals to Erik's blend of melodic fretless bass, steel guitar, percussion and keyboards, and with guest performers such as Jeff Pearce and Steve Hunter, this new music creates an ambience that is both earthy and ethereal. The use of gospel voices further enriches the soulfulness of this music. Consistent threads are the fretless melodies and John Pirruccello's work on the steel guitar, suggesting a cosmic version of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's sustained guitar leads. 2016
